happy friday : Martinique
This cool, tart cocktail is kind of like a classic daiquiri with the added tangy, floral flavor of elderflower. What to buy: For this drink you can use either elderflower syrup or elderflower liqueur. If you opt for syrup, look for it at specialty grocers or online. If you go with the liqueur, look for St-Germain, which can be found at high-end liquor stores and online. INGREDIENTS •3/4 ounce elderflower syrup or elderflower liqueur •1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice •1 1/2 ounces light rum •Ice INSTRUCTIONS Place... Continue Reading >

The purchase of a home is one of the most expensive and important purchases a homebuyer will ever make. The buyer and mortgage lender will want to make sure that no one else has any lien, claim or encumbrance on your property. home prices likely to moderate soon
Home owners have been enjoying big home price rises across the country, but those increases – often by double-digit percentages – will likely level off soon, according to CoreLogic’s latest Home Price Index, which reflects February data. happy friday : cucumber gimlet
Cucumber Gimlet Since it’s Friday I’m going to share another one of my favorite cocktails. A cool pre-dinner drink. These cocktails are quite easy and quick. You whiz some peeled cucumber with lime juice, strain it, add gin and simple syrup (and, in my case, a bit of rosemary) and pour it over ice. I wanted my drink loosened up just a bit so I shook it and also added a splash of soda at the end. Cool and delicious; these go down way too... Continue Reading >
