The 15th Annual Lantern Festival

The 15th Annual Lantern festival is this Saturday, March 5 and will include live entertainment, crafts, art, music, food trucks and much more! Celebrate the Lunar New Year this weekend along with the breathtaking Chinese lantern display in downtown Los Angeles.

The Lunar festival happens annually on the 15th day of the first lunar month and culminates the closing of Chinese New Year celebrations. The Los Angeles Lantern Festival has an aligned mission with the Chinese American Museum to foster a communal education and appreciation of cultural events and history. Enjoy this free and family friendly event to celebrate the commencement of the Chinese New Year!
