As you prepare for your holiday party and family gatherings this year, take the stress away  with these 5 holiday party secrets.

1. Making room for your holiday party can be hectic. Take a closer approach creating more intimate spaces throughout your home that promote mixing and mingling.

2. Using neutral colors are an excellent option for the holidays. Accenting neutral tones with holiday lights creates a warm and inviting feel, not to mention requires less work.

3. Kill two birds with one stone. Put your design work into the menu and allow your dishes to serve as decorations and dinner.

4. Music can be tricky to figure out and finding the right musician takes time. Add a comments section to your RSVP, allowing your guests to list their favorite holiday tune. It’s a great way to involve your guests in the planning and they’ll love you for playing their favorites.

5. Lastly, use a traditional touch by having a guest book for your guests to leave their name and something they are thankful for this holiday season. After the planning, party, and clean up, this is a great party keepsake, just for you.
